Dumb things Anime makes us do

My insults have dropped to the level of Naruto's. I actually almost called someone a "stupid stupidhead" yesterday. (Sigh...)

I've made references to normal people who get really confused, i rub my hand on the back of my head and close my eyes when i'm being praised, when i realize or remember something i put my fist onto my other open hand, and i wanted to name the film club i made at my school the SOS Brigade.

Staying up until 5 in the morning just to watch an episode of FMA. good times.

I went to wal-mart yesterday and standing at the other end of the hall was a guy (without the outfit: normal clothing) with AXEL hair! i stood and stared for like 5 minutes before i ask "Axel?" and he replied "Yes?" in a TOTALLY EXACTLY LIKE AXEL VOICE!!!! i then glomped him!!!! after that we spent like 3hrs having tickle fights with kids cuz they got too close cuz they thought we were manikins

No it was nookie and anime at the SAME time that I wanted LOL

Let's see, I've done the following: strongly attempted to make Death Note into an adaptationed short film for class got a "No" from the teacher, yet now still going to use a shinigami in the movie nonetheless, have spent countless hours online on Evangelion forums and explanation videos from AnimeBoston trying to understand the damng thing and gave myself a headache doing that while at work as well when I'd be in front of a computer, I drove my last girlfriend crazy because she wasn't that into anime and I was...and when she wanted me for "private time" I still wanted to watch anime sometimes at the same time, I used Cowboy Bebop's characters names in a screenplay, and I even adapted a little bit of Eva in another script I wrote. Yeah, I'm a freak and proud.

I'm surprised no one has said anything about staying up till ridiculous, unhealthy hours of the night waking up at 2pm. 8D

I have started saying question mark when I am confused and drawing one in the air above my head. I was half asleep in English class and I did that. Turns out she was asking what belonged on the end of the sentence and it was a question mark so I got it right and did not get in trouble. YAY ME!

Sometimes in class or lunch I will randomly sit like L. When the teachers ask me why I tell them that if I don't my reasoning ability drops by 30%. Why don't they understand?

Once I doodled this whole chibi scene on one of my science dittos and didn't erase it before handing it in, so when I got it back there was a big circle around it with NOT APPROPRIATE TO HAND IN LIKE THIS written in big letters on top...and then my teacher caught me doodling again and confiscated my sketchbook D:

I have started doing anime facial expressons and inserting Japanese into normal sentences. One time I really tired and when my teacher asked me a question, instead of your classic "what?" I answered with "Are?". I also have been saying that vampires do not kiran-kiran. Heehee. I don't know what language I speak anymore, maybe Japanglish.

I also stand up and do the dance to Caramelldansen and Hare Hare Yukai whenever I hear it, like I am brainwashed or possessed. I CAN'T NOT DO IT!!!

i make references to anime that no one understands. then the situation gets awkward.

Well I once jumped off my couch in attempt to fly because of DBZ.

I also sometime curse in Japanese and cock my head to the side and pretend to sweatdrop when im confused. It's a weird habit. lol

Back in my naruto phase, my friends and I would label each other based on personality. I was Sasuke, because I can be pretty moody sometimes. Whenever I'm not, they'd call me Inner Sasuke. My friend Sakura (Danielle, who btw is an ACTUAL ninja. No lie) would sometimes stalk me and glomp me outta nowhere, which hurt. lmao

Back when I was obsessed with Ninjas I would find my friend in my neighborhood at night. Follow him silently for about a half an hour to an hour, then pop out at him. Eventually he started expecting it. So I spoiled the ending of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows to get revenge.

The only other weird thing I ever did was once I gave a pep talk to my friend. I preceded to point up at the ceiling and quote Kamina.

I don't even cosplay so I think emulating Anime is pretty .... lame? Emulating House MD is way cooler. XD

I used to watch Naruto a lot and I was also a fan of free running. So one day me and my buddies were running on an abandoned boardwalk. We got the funny idea of jumping on the tiny buildings like ninja and I thought I would be cool scaling an even bigger building. They all jumped down except me who's retarded and didn't try going to a smaller building before jumping. Sure enough I jumped and fell through the boardwalk into the wet sand and broke some bones in my leg.

The first anime I ever watched online was Tokyo Mew Mew. I locked myself in my dark room for 2 weeks watching it, only coming out to eat, use the bathroom and shower. My parents thought I was becoming anti-social because I told everyone I was busy when they invited me to things...

Looking back on that, I think it's really funny XD

I dunno if this counts, but Back in the Day, my then-boyfriend and I would refer to each other as our chosen anime couple's names. In this case, I was Arshe (Arshes Nei from Bastard) and he was Darshu (Dark Schneider, same series). It was really cute and I liked how it gave our relationship a little in-joke, but I don't think I could see myself doing it now.

Superman isn't anime, but when I was young and...imaginative, I thought to stare up at the sun through a window, which was further enhanced by my glasses, in the hopes that either 1) I would fix my vision or 2) I would obtain heat vision.

I now have a pretty horrid a-stigmatism and must have something within 5 inches from my face in order to read text. Might I add that I spend around 90% of my life in front of a monitor for various reasons, much of it job-related. I'm going to be blind by 60. Go me.

The only thing I ever did was scream like the Sayan's do in DBZ and lost my voice, and got a headache.
