From Action Fest 2010: As reported over on Twitch, Indonesian martial arts film MERANTAU scooped up the award for best action film. The film stars Iko Uwais, who has uncanny resemblance to Tony Jaa from Ong Bak, and focuses on the hard-hitting Indonesian martial art of Silat. The level of on-screen martial arts awesomeness is unrivalled in this pic. Keep an eye out for its imminent DVD release!
