Discussion on watching the OP Anime Marathon

We could get a Chatango chat box on this, right? So that way we can chat on the anime we're watching. :3

Well, I've already seen Death Note. There is some nice foreshadowing in that Ryuk already knows the end effect of boredom on a society: witness how decadent the shinigami are about their duties.

So the first show is Death Note.

Believe it or not, I never watched the show until yesterday. I find the parallelism between Light and Ryuk to be really interesting. Definitely makes one think outside of the box, or at least from a different point of view. Any first impressions from others?
