So as a bit of a gift to show my appreciation for what Otaku Pride's team (and my good friends) has done for me, KOU, and Dance of Heart, I decided to draft up a Miku Hatsune style layout based off of the one we're already using. In case you're wondering, I did use the original site as a base, but had to remake almost everything from scratch to duplicate the page. Doing this took me about six or so hours, but I had fun making it.
Because Jim adapted the layout we are currently using from Stock Overflow, I wasn't sure how far out of bounds I could go with certain things. So I kept everything simple and mainly just adapted colors to give a Miku feel. For example, the green for the "Replies" box is to represent her leek and the hot pink was taken from her headphones.
Well, feedback would be great I guess. I planned on doing a Topic page example as well, but I figured I shouldn't get too carried away until I hear from all of you. Thanks in advance. =]

Well, I've given it a try and I have to say I like it. It is very "pretty"; granted I won't be sticking with it. I need a man's theme, 'cause I'm a man! (+10 Karma if you get that) I'm still looking forward to a better Konami theme 9 months, 4 weeks ago

Most of the bugs are now fixed. ie. the alternating backgrounds on the badges should be fixed etc. There should be a nice handful of themes soon enough, and users will be able to select their theme via their profile. btw wgood job creating the miku theme @nina and with the implementation @jim 9 months, 4 weeks ago

Looks really nice so far! On the index page, the karma and badge #s aren't dark like the sidebar titles. Feel free to drop down the rollover hex for the Ignored tags. On the Posts pages, hyperlinks aren't the same color as normal Tags. -

My goal was to keep this simple to serve as an example for future layouts. I personally feel a mic would be distracting visually. The hot pink (and every color used) was taken directly from her & has nothing to do with the amount shown. -

I agree with KaminaSama for wishing I could get Vocaloid, but other than that... This is awesome. I absolutely love it. I like the look of it being subtle with the background and not right in your face, and the colors make me happy. You got me with the pink and aqua blueish/green. Wow, now that I think about that question, it was a pretty dumb one. I used PShop. I guess giving hex codes would make more sense than swatches. Probably should do both. -
