been watching avatar (yes the last airbender) lately...

it's neither anime, nor my favorite... but it's much better than I was expecting =]

D-Gray Man isn't girly, and Black Cat is shonen (and awesome, I might add!)

My current faves (not already on the list) are Bo-bobo, Naruto Shippuuden, and Tegami Bachi: Letter Bee.

well i really love kimi ni todoke at the first place.. this anime change my life and also my personality.. sawako kuronuma is my dream girl haha..

i also like gintama.. what the hell!! it so funny.. the protagonist umm,, cant remember the name, is so damn hell funny!! i remember the episode when he wants to buy some electric fan, but all the shop in the city is selling aircon. he wants to buy the aircon but his money is just for electric fan.. then he ends up fighting a giant machine just to take an old fan. but when they tried to use it, its mess up. then they all mess each other.

It definitely used to be Naruto, as that was my first real anime (don't worry Gaara, I still love you the most), but Full Metal Alchemist has been slowly but surely creeping into my #1 spot. It's one of the few shonen manga that's actually drawn/written by a woman! Arakawa Hiromu-Sensei is my role model! It's also genuinely funny, has great artwork, and a story that can range from slapstick to making me cry (LT. COL. HUGHES NOOOOO!!!!). The vast majority of the characters are very likable, even some of the bad guys! The only characters that I don't like are Kimblee (bastard), Lust (whore), Wrath (bastard), and Pride (scary posessed child). Everyone else I think is either awesome or pretty darn cool. The writing is good, the art is good, and the characters are good.

Last series I was watching was Disgaea, and for any fans of NIS games (especially Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness), it is a total given to watch. I wish they would translate the series since I like the English-Prinnies better than the Japanese counterpart.

Unfortunately, the character designs are the old ones, and many of the characters look, uhh, ugly compared to the redesigned versions of Disgaea 3 fame.

I'm crazy about Toradora and for the life of me I don't understand why. If I had a friend or otherwise who called me a "dog" or a "mongrel" every chance she got we wouldn't be friends for very long. And if I had a friend who took that sort of nonsense from anyone, male or female, I'd have a few words for him. But on Taiga and Ryujii it works.

On Taiga I see someone who is able to see past her own difficulties to allow her to love and be loved. In Ryujii I see someone who's really spiritually mature. Who is so loyal to a person that he's ready to support that friend no matter what.

Maybe I'm not as against that sort of relationship as I thought. Maybe I'm just jealous that I can't behave that way myself or that I don't have those kinds of friends.

Whatever, it's an awesome show.

Hands down Gurren Lagann. I've never been so inspired by any form of media before, and the art was incredible.

who cares if the content is different when translated? Don't care, the show is funny as hell!

My curreny favorite comes down to Sekirei or To Love-Ru. Sekirei because it had all the qualities I like in a good anime great fight scenes, a harem filled with beautiful girls and it was very funny with a nice plot. Same goes for To Love-Ru.

Now that I've started to watch anime (and I'm not watching Cowboy Bebop), I have a new current favorite:

Rosario + Vampire!

It's my favorite anime right now because it is the only one that can hold my attention. Maybe it is the etchi nature of it, but really its the whole comedic aspect. I skip through the end battles (well, at least the glorified transformation process) to get back to the comedy.

Also, I love the bat. He says Jim, Tom, and my favorite line at least twice in the series (as far as I've watched).

Something I found weird the first time I watched was that they use the Proton Pack powering up sound when Moka transforms (specifically when her butt and boobs 'enhance'). I just hope I don't start getting aroused by animated pictures >,< I know it will be downhill from there!

I like Ouran High School Host Club for comedy and romance, Tsubasa Chronicle for non-bloody action, FullMetal Alchemist for complete awesomeness and X/1999 if you want a tragic, suspenseful anime.

My current favorite would be Eden of the East, though I have a lot that I like right now... xD

Mine's a tie between "Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru"... Not really sure why, but I love that anime to the point of obsession... And my other favorite anime is "H2O: Footprints In The Sand"... That anime was the only anime that has ever made me cry... The ending to that anime is so depressing that I cut myself off from anime for over a month once I finished the series.

mine at the moment would have to be welcome to the nhk its pretty underrated but i love it XD its my favorite because its just hilarious its suppose to be 17+ though and you can see why if you watch it but its a great anime anyways all though i was 10 when i watched it oh well

Even though Reborn Is awesome, I would have to change my favorite anime to Full Metal Alchemist.
