NYAF/NYCC 2010: Anime, Cosplay, Comics, Oh My...
So I'm sure you are all aware that New York Anime Festival and New York Comic Con have decided to team up this year. Buying a pass for just the one will give you free admittance to the other. Quite a deal, I suppose seeing as I am an avid fan and attendee of both, but it seems to raise a couple doubts in my mind. Seeing as both cons are massively crowded, I feel like the mix of both will totally drown out the free space of the Jacob K Javits Center, where both cons are traditionally held... Now I know there is a lot of space in the center, but...srsly? It's always rather crowded with just one con happening...so...opinions ppl? I would like to know what you think on this subject matter!
Besides that, I want to know who will be attending! Cosplays! and if the OtakuPride Community will be holding a meet!!

I believe we have a topic on this from ages ago, but it is about time we have a new one :) As of right now, I don't know if Jim, Tom, or myself are going. I would, regardless if I went, want to help you guys have a meet-up. Last time we bought a lot of pizza and we were able to get a few of you in one spot. It was nice to meet ya guys too. But, who knows how crowded some of the public areas will be this time; it could be big. You guys should totally get together, with us or not! Of course, we want pictures (PG-ish, ya know). I'm sure we will have more on this later. We didn't end up recording a podcast tonight (again, sorry!) but I will talk to Jim in a few about it. 2 years, 12 months ago

If I can ever get a chance to go to New York during the Con, I'll definitely go. It sounds like loads of fun, but I live all the way in Texas. But I have family in NYC, so it's not totally impossible! 2 years, 12 months ago

I'm going, bought my ticket as soon as they went on sale. I'm not sure if I want to stay in the city or go back and forth via the LIRR. Cosplaying not really my thing, but I'll provide whatever help I can for a meet up. 2 years, 11 months ago

Garrr I need to get my tickets! It's going to be difficult to swing this year though because last year we stayed with my cousin, but now he's moving back to the island soooooooo we might have to get a hotel or something...or go back and forth on the LIRR which would be extremely not fun :/ 2 years, 11 months ago
