At the beginning, Jim, Tom, Sasha (for a short time), and myself were very active in the podcast scene for the site. Due to a number of technical and work-related issues, we have since stopped recording. This saddens me, and I would like to turn things back around.

Of course, as much fun as it was for us, what ultimately matters in the internet metric-cluster-fuck is what you guys thought of it. Do you want it back? Did you enjoy it? Could you care less?
I ask you this because whether or not we record a podcast again is up to you. Frequently, Jim and I would discuss recording a podcast, but as time drifts by, the likelihood of returning to record dwindles. Granted, Jim and I are both busy with a ton of other things, and Tom is as well (although he is the captain of marketing for the site). Still, if you guys want us to record another episode every now and then, we'd like to know.

I honestly love listening to the OP podcasts, the only thing is, is that they slip under my radar whenever a new one is released. So a lot of the times I forget to check, and I miss a few episodes. But definitely, if you're able to record some more, I'd be happy to listen to them! 3 years, 1 month ago

Suffering?! Good grief, you should be so lucky. What trials most otaku would endure to be rewarded with a hug from Hatsune Miku! :P 3 years, 1 month ago

I don't take your BS press statements. You are all about spin. Regardless, we could work something out; I'll be at E3. -

By the way, Jim, I will ensure this topic stays alive until June rolls around and regular podcasts start to pop up. YOU'RE ON NOTICE! -

Well I just heard the new podcast and it was very much like "old times." Miss you guys by the way. You don't tweet anymore (individually). =[ I totally understand that it's pretty tough to do a podcast consistently and I didn't let it bother me that you guys had stopped. I do that all the time with my own projects. I personally think that the long-run decision should be based on how necessary it has been to the growth and activity of the site. Though the podcast is a great way to bring attention to a website from an advertising perspective, I'd ask the question: Is the OP Podcast necessary enough of a content entity to bring back in relation to the needs of site growth and retaining membership. For the record, the podcast brought me back here after being caught up in my own projects (and I feel bad about not being around...). I think pondering that would answer the question on its own. 3 years, 1 month ago

Great question, but Jim and Tom know the answer. Personally, I don't care what the podcast is about, I just like doing them. -

And I think having your mentality (while in-keeping with the content & mission of the site) is the right one to have when doing things like podcasts. Also, I'd be all for doing them with you guys if the timing works. -
