I'm inviting some friends over my house for a cosplay/japanese themes sleepover/tea ceremony. We're all gunna dress up and stuff but I don't have a lot of thing to do. I'm going out with my dad to get sushi, pocky, and Japanese sweets, maybe some rice balls, to eat and Tea and Soda to drink. I need some Ideas on what to do at the party, most of my friends have never met each-other and I'm hoping some one has something anime themes that will get them closer. If you have any Ideas, please tell me. Please, if you look at this, tell me your ideas. I have 49 views and only 8 replies. Come on!

Aside from watching good anime you could to MST3K some bad anime. If you don't know MST3K (Mystery Science Theater 3000)is a show where the characters watch a movie with the audience at home, while making fun of it. You can find some episodes on YouTube to get the idea 3 years, 5 months ago

Sword fights are always epic, also play some video games. It still counts if it's a game from a Japanese company. 3 years, 5 months ago

How will you score it? Group vote (may not work if everyone votes for themselves)? Impartial third party? Posting on OP? -

Sake! Which you probably can't have. Hmm. DVDs, games, and maybe a trivia contest? There are all kinds of anime-themed remakes of classic video games, like Master Burner. Not to mention that many classic video games themselves came out in Japanese before they were ever in English. Taking a more traditional approach, you could try a tea ceremony if you're really into it, but that requires considerable dedication and focus (as well as more knowledge than I actually have.) 3 years, 5 months ago

We can't have sake, but I was planning on having a simplified tea ceremony. -
