First of all, what consoles do you have? Let's start there. :) 3 years, 7 months ago

I'm very proud of Maria and Tom; they did a great start. I am your gaming guru, Ryan, here to help with any questions you have. What console(s) do you have? What types of games are you interested in? What have you played before? There are numerous websites out there with well qualified writers (and some not-so qualified ones coughMEcough) that all give review for games. It might take a while, but you can find the right site or set of writers for yourself. Personally, I get my fix from IGN.com and have so since it first launched well over a decade ago. Anyway, lets here your story! 3 years, 7 months ago

Okay, well, for starters, the GameCube was DOA. Second, the PS2 is not a major platform, so unless you want to play really old games, you're S.O.L. PS3, however, I can talk to you about ^_~ -

I'm a huge fan of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles and Tales of Symphonia ( theres a series of "Tales" I never played the others so Idk about them) for GC. If you haven't played, I truley reccomend both of them. For computer I reccomend L4D if your into zombie killing. Also, World of Warcraft is a must and so are any of the Sims games. 3 years, 7 months ago

The Disgaea, and Persona series are a great start if your into RPGs And big games, Like Fallout 3, L4D, Oblivion, and other next gen game on PC are good if you have a good computer and some money. Also the LOZ: Collectors disk is a good buy for about $20. 3 years, 7 months ago

PS2:
Disgaea 2 PS3:
GameCube:
-- I could go on ENDLESSLY about every single system and the best games out there. RPGs are easy to come by, but not all of them will be the right fit for you. That goes for any other genera of game. I mentioned all of the Disgaea games, but honestly, if you don't have a super hardcore attitude about them (they are a COMPLETE time suck) or you don't have a PSP (the first two have been updated and re-released there), don't bother. I personally believe that the third game is the best, and it just so happens to be on PS3 so it is easy to find. It was my first Disgaea game, but I've since gone back to play the others. This one has a great story, but the mechanics of the game are insane to follow. As you are just starting out, I'll give you your best options for PS2 and PS3 games:

Depends, throw an emulator on a PC and its the best "console" to play arcade games on. I was playing around with building you one for Christmas. -
