Now I know some might not be comfortable admitting theirs, but I always find it fun to find out what others watch or read that may not normally fit the formula for the manga or Anime that they would watch. I've had a couple, myself.
Anime:
Princess Tutu, Sugar: A Snow Fairy (Probably the most guilty of the bunch. I found myself saying awwwww all the time.), Love Hina (I don't feel so guilty about this one because it was just really funny.), the occasional sappy romantic or happy anime.
Manga:
Love Hina (Didn't like that the series ended so abruptly so I read the manga.), Chobits (not all that guilty), Fruits Basket.
See, but that's the beauty of the Otaku community. Ther is really no such thing as manga or anime being just geared towards males or females. If you enjoy the story, then, have at it. :)
So with that in mind, what's your guilty pleasure, OtakuPride?

For the most part, I don't feel guilty about any of my manga/anime pleasures. Something like Princess Tutu, for instance, would never fall into that category for me. Why feel guilty about watching something so good? If I feel guilt, it's over seriously trashy shojo, like, say, Hot Gimmick or some of the trashier/violent manhwa series like Let Dai. 3 years, 7 months ago

Since I love it so much I won't admit that it's my "guilty" pleasure, but Full Moon wo Sagashite. I still nearly cry whenever I hear it's soundtrack~ 2 years, 8 months ago

Very true. Avatar, though a Nickelodeon biproduct, makes me chuckle and has a good enough story to keep me interested. Sadly, Nick used to be known for awesome action shows that would have fit right in with Avatar, but I think I'm dating myself if I start mentioning things like Cities of Gold, etc. 3 years, 7 months ago

I guess Fruits Basket. Ever since I learned what shoujo was, I was always feeling a little weird about it, but lately I haven't really been caring. I just need to buy the rest of the manga, haha. 3 years, 7 months ago

That's the beauty of it. :) If you like it, read it. Generally nobody will judge you for it. -

I often catch myself speaking in Italian and shouting, "Reborn!" at random times. It's fun to try it with the accent too from the show. 3 years, 7 months ago

Dear Gooie, this doesn't surprise me. How about Highschool of the Dead? -

Honestly... It ended too soon. I thought the first episode had a lot of promise, but it went down hill too quickly. Ended up being another panty-shot-fest, which was not welcomed by me. -

Ok, I admit it. It's Shounen-Ai/BL/Yaoi, like Junjou Romantica, Loveless etc. I find watching it more thrilling and exciting. Can you believe that my Mother was the one that introduced it to me in the first place?! But, I do not regret it. 5 months, 2 weeks ago
