auto-pagination doesn't seem know which page you're actually on

BAH! I can't even do single asterisks for actions because they count as italics. Boo on markdown system...again.

When I posted a reply to this topic, I was taken to the 1st page instead of where my reply was posted. Inconvenient and confuzzling. x_x

EDIT: Change the green color of the Reply box on the Home page or add some sort of graphic beside them to let users know that there is something NEW posted there or at least that the topic they are looking at is NEW to their cookies.

I hate how I can suggest all these things but have no clue how to implement any of it....orz

DOUBLE EDIT:

Since someone can get a badge for having their topic viewed 10k times, is there a way to implement a cookie that disables counting views on your own topic? This isn't necessary obviously, but I've seen it done somewhere...

TRIPLE EDIT:

Just remembered that the e-mail verification that you can do in your profile does not send anything. I don't know if password changing is connected to that, but you may want to check that also.

you sould have a thing to click on to reply to a previous post or to quote a previous post so instead of saying something like 'when maria said that thing about the other thing two pages ago and stuff' you can just have a quote box and then say 'I agree' or whatever.

Check out my post called, 'Badly Translated Japanese Shows and Video Games.' There's a bug where when the tags that I add are too long, it overlaps the little box that says, 'replied four minutes ago by maria blah bah....'

Anyway maybe you could fix it or just put a limit on how long the five tags can be. Cus limiting it to just five tags doesn't prevent tags from being this long. Trust me, this whole thing was unintentional!

when you try to 'close' a thread under admin, and you go to the post after, this huge gray block covers the title of the post. And all it says is, 'closed' next to the name of the post. It doesn't stop users from viewing it.

That doesn't need to be fixed. Closing a thread means members can't post in them anymore. Being able to view a closed topic is normal for message boards. =]

We shouldn't be able to vote for our own post. That just kinda defeats the purpose. o_o

And maybe we should be able to click on the number just in case we change our minds about the vote? Don't know if that is possible. Maybe it could just be permanent?

I can 'stuff the ballot box' by viewing a post over and over and the views caount just keeps going up and up and up. How about something that deals with that like one view per session or per login or something.
